Code Of Conduct
Just a few sensible rules to ensure the safety of your children and to help keep things calm and orderly at the studio and to make sure that students can get the most out of their classes.
We have a strict No smoking policy outside around the doors of the studio. This is a children friendly environment.
Do not enter a classroom until the teacher is present. Wait outside the door until called.
All Students are expected to be kind, friendly and respectful of one another both in and out of the studio. We are here to support each other and work as a team.
Disruptive behaviour is unacceptable, and students will be removed from the class after two warnings. This includes talking out of turn.
Children must not play outside at Penrith studio this includes siblings. It is a carpark but also a road used by many other businesses. Please remind children of these rules.
Children must not leave studio without parent.
At all times whether within the studio or outside in your uniform remember you are always representing WPA, and your behaviour will reflect on the studio. WPA has an excellent reputation in the dance community.
We don’t allow parents into the classroom because it can prove to be a distraction for the students.
Photographs and videos taken of students in classes may be used for advertisements and promotional use. Parents that do not wish for their child to be featured must express this in writing to info@westsidepa.com.au prior to lessons commencing. Students who are not allowed to be photographed or videoed may miss out on performance opportunities
If your circumstances change, or your child changes their mind, you can cancel at any time. But you must notify us in writing to reception. Not the teacher and not in passing. If you do not notify us, you will still be liable to pay fees, we will assume your child has just missed a lot of classes and will be returning. This also applies if you are changing classes.
If you choose to be at Westside Performing Arts student, you are required to not take classes at any other dance studio. With the exception of approved workshops.
