  • We offer classes for children and young adults starting from age 2 up to 18 years. Our programs are divided into age-appropriate groups: Mini Movers and Groovers (2-5 years), Enchant (5-6 years), Engage (7-11 years), Excite (11-14 years), and Elevate (14-18 years).

  • Yes, we offer trial classes for new students. This is a great opportunity to see if our dance program is the right fit for your child. Please contact us to schedule a trial class.

  • We teach a variety of dance styles including ballet, jazz, hip-hop, funk, tap, and acro, among others. Our programs are designed to give students a well-rounded dance education.

Enrolment and Fees

  • Our class fees vary depending on the program and duration. Please contact us for detailed fee information, or visit our age group pages on our website. Our fee structure is simple just set and forget, no surprise invoices. Fees are paid over 12 months of the year.

Class Information

  • Comfortable, movable dance attire is recommended for your first class however uniform can be purchased through the studio after enrolment.

  • Class lengths vary by age group and program, ranging from 30 minutes to 1.5 hours. Please refer to our class schedule for specific timings.

  • We have specific policies regarding parent observation which vary by class and age group. For example All our Mini Moves and Groovers classes have a secure zoom link so you can watch the class. Please contact us for details regarding your child's class.

Performance and Competitions

  • Yes, we have annual recitals and showcase events where students have the opportunity to perform. We also participate in local and regional competitions and events.

  • Selection for competitions is based on skill level, commitment, and teacher recommendations. We ensure that competitions are a positive and enriching experience for all participants.

Safety and Policies

  • The safety of our students is our top priority. We have comprehensive safety policies including background checks for all staff, first aid trained personnel on site, and strict adherence to health and safety guidelines.

  • At WPA We offer a happiness guarantee! We know dance isn't for everyone and sometimes they are just not ready. No need to pay a whole term in advance. For the first month you just have to make sure you inform us you would like to withdraw before the 2nd payment.

    We believe in imercing your child into the full experience at WPA for 1 month. It can take 3 weeks before a child settles in. For the first lesson they may just observe the lesson, see what happens, the 2nd class they may participate a little and the 3rd week they will enjoy the full experience of the class and asking when they get to go again.
